Merge, split, and images-to-PDF run with pdf-lib in the page. Compress draws pages with PDF.js onto a canvas in the page, then builds a new PDF locally. Choosing a file reads it into this tab’s memory. Building a result creates a download in the browser. StayFile does not POST, PUT, or otherwise transmit the file bytes to a server of its own. There is no server API in this app.

• When a publisher id is configured, the Google AdSense script described under Advertising. The default build does not include it.

The language choice is stored in localStorage under the key stayfile-locale. That value is en or zh. File names, file bytes, and page counts are not written there. Downloads are ordinary browser downloads. Object URLs used for image previews are revoked when you remove the image or leave the page.

语言选择存在 localStorage 的 stayfile-locale 里。值是 en 或 zh。文件名、文件字节和页数不会写进去。下载就是浏览器普通的下载。图片预览用的对象 URL 会在你移除图片或离开页面时撤销。

Hosting logs

托管日志

The pages are static files. The host that serves them may keep ordinary request logs, such as an IP address and the URL of a page, under that host’s own policy. Those logs are not the contents of your PDF. StayFile has no application log of the files you open, because the application never receives them.

Analytics

This build includes Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-7GJ6L4H8KH. The tag is the standard page-view snippet. It does not receive the files you select. Google may set a cookie and receive the page URL and browser information under Google’s own policy.

Advertising

StayFile can load a Google AdSense script when NEXT_PUBLIC_ADSENSE_CLIENT is set at build time to a publisher id (ca-pub- followed by 16 digits). The repository does not contain a publisher id. When that script is included, Google may set cookies and use advertising identifiers under Google’s privacy policy and Google’s advertising policy. The script does not receive the files you select. Merge, split, compress, and images-to-PDF still run in this browser. StayFile does not upload your files for ads.

构建时如果把 NEXT_PUBLIC_ADSENSE_CLIENT 设成发布商 ID（ca-pub- 后接 16 位数字），StayFile 可以加载 Google AdSense 脚本。仓库里没有发布商 ID。脚本被包含进来之后，Google 可能会设置 cookie，并使用广告标识符，详见 Google 隐私政策和Google 广告政策。这个脚本收不到你选择的文件。合并、拆分、压缩和图片转 PDF 仍在这台浏览器里运行。StayFile 不会为了投放广告而上传你的文件。
